Unsere Aktivitäten
Anyone who is interested is welcome to join in and help with our varied activities on the farm.
Bee seminar with ointment workshop
Using examples, a fun group of interested people were given an insight into the life of the honey bee and the annual cycle of this useful insect.
We made an ointment with ribwort plantain that the participants could take home with them.
At the end there was a little refreshment and a cozy get-together in the Bienen Stüberl.

Making oxymel
In October we met to make oxymel. First we measured the acetic acid, adjusted the acidity and then mixed the vinegar with honey. Then the freshly harvested medicinal herbs were processed and added.
Pouring candles
When making candles at the end of July, the wax was first cleaned and then poured into candles.
The creative team not only made tea lights, but also other beautiful shapes such as angels, Easter eggs and small beehives, which are now available in our Tannberg-Stüberl.
Honey extractors
At the end of June, honey was extracted on our farm.
The adults and children present saw how honeycombs are uncapped, what honeycomb honey is and how the honey is spun out of the honeycombs.
Of course, the wine was thoroughly tasted before bottling .
